While we are very grateful for the abundance of rain we have been experiencing here in Southern California, we are definitely longing for some sunshine, warmth and those long summer days that are coming soon. This sentiment has led our faculty and staff to the theme for our upcoming recital. We are excited to announce our 11th Annual Summer Finale – “Summer Lovin'” which will take place on June 10th and 11th at the Nechita Theater (OLU).
COSTUME ORDERING AND REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!
Please carefully review the parent info document that was emailed out to all enrolled students to find out all the details, fees, important deadlines and the classes that are slated to participate in the recital. If you do not have this document, please email us.
When you order your costume via the online google form (link in document) you will be automatically registered for the recital and your child will be enrolled in a special placeholder “class” for all students participating.
The online google order form does not collect payment – it is only to collect your child’s costume sizes and registration. Payment will be collected via the parent portal as usual.

IMPORTANT DATES BEFORE THE RECITAL WEEKEND
- Saturday, April 8th – REGISTRATION & COSTUME ORDER FORMS DUE (costumes can not be guaranteed to arrive in time after this date)
- Monday, May 1st – TICKETS GO ON SALE A link to purchase on the venue’s website will be emailed out
- Sunday, June 4th – DRESS REHEARSAL & PICTURE DAY: professional photos at studio and a run through of your dance in your costume. (detailed schedule will be provided) AT THE STUDIO
FINALE PERFORMANCE DATES AND TIMES – every class will have 2 performances/showtimes*
ALL SHOWTIMES SUBJECT TO CHANGE. AS OF MAY 1, WHEN TICKETS ARE ON SALE, THE TIMES WILL BE FINAL UNLESS CONFIRMED EARLIER.
Each recreational class will perform in two shows over the two days giving all family and friends a chance to watch! Tickets sell out quickly!
TENTATIVE PERFORMANCE TIMES SUBJECT TO CHANGE
Saturday, June 10th
12:00 PM – Performance #1: LITTLE STARS – all classes for ages 5 and under
4:00 PM – Performance #2: BIG TALENT – all classes for ages 6 and up
Sunday, June 11th
11:00 AM – Performance #3: LITTLE STARS & BIG TALENT COMBINED SHOW – THE main performance! All classes and all ages
4:30 PM – Performance #4: COMPANY/OCPRO SHOWCASE – performance featuring our competition team students ONLY. However, all OCPAA families are invited to purchase tickets to view the performance.
Please note: STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO PERFORM IN ALL SHOWS for their class(es) – (Voice for Musical Theater class will participate in ALL THREE SHOWS.) It is recommended that parents help in the dressing rooms for one show and purchase tickets to watch the other show.
